Christian Ministries
The Christian Ministries major is designed to develop and equip its graduates for entry-level professional ministries in church and para-church agencies and to provide a foundation for seminary or other graduate education.
What will I study?
At the completion of the Christian Ministries major, the student will have:
- Realized his identity in relationship to his position in Christ
- Demonstrated the essential knowledge and skills to study Scripture inductively and to communicate biblical truths effectively
- Established a basic philosophy of Christian education which incorporates discipleship and leadership
- Demonstrated an ability to be sensitive to others
- Shown an understanding of how people function in both individual and group learning experiences
- Developed and demonstrated an ability to function successfully as a teacher and a leader

Admissions Requirements
There are no special admission requirements for the Christian Ministries major. Please note: All Christian Ministries majors will attend a mandatory annual retreat.
