Getting fresh air!...A walk, a run, maybe a hike or camping. If I can catch the stars, that is a bonus. Snowboarding is always fun, but let me tell you that there is NO graceful way to wipeout. Dancing, singing and laughing keep the heart young. Have to keep building that vocabulary, so most definitely reading.

What are you passionate about?
My heart is to be an example in all that I say and do. I work for God and my desire is for that to be evident. I have a deep passion for building up the next generation in their spiritual life and in their own passions and talents. And to speak publicly is by far one of my greatest passions.
Who has had the greatest influence on your life?
My dad. He maintains the strongest work ethic I have ever seen. He is incredibly bright...the guy never stops learning. There is always a new class or opportunity for growth. Not to mention, he has literally raised a dozen children. He is a powerful example of what it means to provide, protect, and lead. My dad sets the bar high. And my mom. She will go above and beyond to be sure that the needs of others are met. She is always ready to sacrifice and is incredibly generous. No person is below her. She has taught me what it means to genuinely care for others. My mom authentically depicts love and compassion.
What is your favorite college memory?
The list could go on forever. If I had to choose, I would say the relationships that have been developed at Biola. Professors genuinely care about my growth as a student and as a sister-in-Christ. The staff has supported me throughout the entire journey. The friendships established in the dorms and in classes will last a lifetime. “Reach for the moon, but don’t forget to touch the stars along the way.” This is a simple statement that my college roommate said to me as I neared graduation, yet it is incredibly profound in this day and age. These are the wise words of a Biola friendship that will not only last a lifetime, but will in fact last for eternity.
What was your favorite class in college? Why?
Theology of Marriage and Family with Dr. Rob Lister. My hopes are to one day be married and have a family of my own. It is essential to understand what it means to have a solid theology of these institutions and all they entail. We covered a variety of topics, from the gift of singlehood to the responsibilities of marriage. This is by far one of the most impacting and practical classes I have taken at Biola.
