What do you love about Biola?
The community and the location - such an amazing group of people to learn from and grow with, and so many fun places to visit right in your own backyard.
What was your favorite class in college? Why?
I had so many great classes, but if I had to narrow it down and choose one, I would probably go with my Gospel and Culture class taught by Dr. Sue Russell. It was also probably the most challenging class I ever took at Biola! Gospel and Culture was my integration seminar and it was a chance to put all of the things I had been learning in my major and Bible classes together along with my passion for human rights and justice and come up with cohesive thoughts and ideas. I feel like I left that class not only more knowledgeable, but also more confident in my ability to talk on these subjects, and to incorporate my faith into all areas of my life and work.
What was the greatest lesson you learned in college?
Hard work pays off, and taking care of yourself, whether it be your mental, emotional, spiritual, or physical health, is all an important part of being successful and effective, not only in college, but in life!
Where do you hang out in Los Angeles?
I love exploring and finding new places to eat and just hang out. There seems to be an endless supply of new things to discover!
