Think you live too far away to visit Biola University? Biola just made it easier to drop by for the weekend.
These event dates are specifically for students from out of state or living between the 94000-96199 area codes. Students fly into Los Angeles and experience 4 jam packed days of fun! Students spend the night in the dorms all 3 nights, go to classes, chapel, meet with Admissions counselors and professors and even spend Sunday at Disneyland!
On Saturday afternoon you'll fly into the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) between 12pm and 3pm and meet up with a Biola staff member at the baggage claim. The Biola folks will then take you and a few other visiting students out for a taste of Southern California. Next you'll be brought back to Biola for a tour of campus, dinner in the cafeteria and an orientation meeting that will include details on the weekend as well as the sweet residence hall you'll be staying in on your trip.
Your day will start with a worship service at one of the strong local churches. After church, you'll grab a quick lunch together at a Southern California favorite, In-N-Out! The rest of Sunday will be reserved for wild rides, scrumptious food, and tons of fun in the "happiest place on earth" - Disneyland! Whether you've been to the house of the mouse before or this will be your first time, come prepared for a great adventure (and maybe a chilly night) with some awesome new friends.
This day is all about you exploring Biola. Want to attend chapel? Go for it. Want to check out a Film, Bible, or Business class? Seize the day. Get to know the campus through a guided tour, or get to know professors and current students while chatting over lunch. A breakout session will answer all your admissions and financial aid questions, you can chat it up with your Admissions Counselor, and then it's off to dinner and games with the rest of the Biola Bound crew. Not a bad way to spend a Monday, huh?
Wake up and enjoy the morning as you like, because your Biola Bound experience will soon wrap up by heading to the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with your Counselor. Make sure to schedule your flight between the times of 11am and 2pm. As you are whisked away into the afternoon sky, enjoy the view from a flight that could be on us!
Thank you for your interest in Biola Bound. Registration for this event is closed at this time, but will reopen in the Fall. When you register for Biola Bound and purchase your flight, please make sure the Biola Bound assistant has a copy of your flight schedule and costs. You can send an email with any questions to bbound@biola.edu.
